Recurring patterns? When I needed to eat but didn’t feel like it, my best mate Wendy delivered boiled eggs to my door each day. This was back in 1998. Today, 2017, I delivered scrambled eggs to my mum’s bedside. She ate about 3 mouthfuls. This is all we can expect. The loss of weight and appetite could be the dementia or could be the cancer. Probably best not to analyse. My poor dad, who has learned to cook finally after 63 years of marriage, is doing huge elaborate meals for mum 3 times a day and she eats nothing. I turn up with ice-cream (yesterday) and eggs today, and a little bit is eaten.  Warm desserts on my radar for her tomorrow I think.
